Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) is a holistic and transformative bodywork technique created by Satyarthi Peloquin and designed to relieve pain, restore balance, and enhance overall well-being.
This unique approach addresses not only physical discomfort but also the emotional, mental, and energetic patterns that may contribute to chronic pain and tension.
Fascia, a connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, organ, and nerve in the body, plays a critical role in how we feel and move. Emotional, mental, and physical stress can create tension patterns in the fascia, leading to chronic pain and discomfort. MER works to release these patterns, restoring harmony and mobility.
A MER session integrates seven essential elements to address both the root causes and symptoms of pain:
Touch: A blend of deep tissue work, fascial release, and stretching to release tension and blockages.
Breath: Conscious breathing floods the body with oxygen, helping to release pain and restore vitality.
Meditation: Accessing stillness and presence to activate powerful healing energies.
Movement: Encouraging spontaneous, free movement to restore alignment and balance.
Emotions: Gently uncovering and releasing stored emotional patterns through a conscious process.
Connection: Building trust and awareness to empower self-healing.
Pain Relief: Targeted techniques to release contractions in the soft tissues that cause pain.
Benefits of Myofascial Energetic Release MER is highly effective for a variety of conditions, including:
Chronic pain (back, neck, knees, and more)
Migraines and headaches
Postural imbalances
Fibromyalgia
Plantar fasciitis
Carpal tunnel syndrome

Deep Relief: Releases tension in muscles, fascia, and soft tissues.
Holistic Approach: Addresses physical, emotional, and mental layers.
Proactive Participation: Involves you in your own healing process through breath, movement, and awareness.
MER is a dynamic dance of energy that combines:
Skillful Touch: Deep yet sensitive manipulation of connective tissues. Conscious Breathing: Facilitates oxygen flow and releases blockages.
Emotional Awareness: Allows for the gentle release of stored traumas.
With its integrative approach, MER goes beyond pain relief to empower individuals to connect with their innate healing power.

It’s a good idea to eat lightly if eating before the session, and to wear loose comfortable clothing (leggings for women is ideal).
